MY BEST CAREER TRAINING

Hi bloggers, today I’m gonna talk to you about my best career training.

I have had many practices throughout my career. Every year or so, with my classmates we have to go somewhere. Thanks to that I know many places, very beautiful all of them. But the one that I liked the most it was Frutillar, we went there in January 2017.

It was very special to me because of the places that I saw, places that I never saw before.  It was beautiful natural woods, with long-lived trees and a great variety of native plants, really wonderful.

Well, we normally went to the training after to learn a lot of things in all subjects throughout the year. So the idea of went to the training is put on practice the things we learned.  But when you are there, you realize that you really learned nothing.

The things teachers taught to us it was about how to measure some forest variables, such as forest density, flora richness and climatic variables. I remember I learned a lot about the plant scientific names, and as I have a terrible, it was very difficult for me to learn so many names.

Although I like the places we go, the experiences are not very good, because we sleep little, we don’t eat very well and after spending so much time with the same people, you end up hating them.

POST GRADUATE STUDIES

Hi bloggers, today’s topic is about a postgraduate course that I would like to do after finishing university.

Well, to be honest, I don’t know if I want to continue studying after leaving university, but I probably do, because I think today it’s not enough to have a university degree, you must continue studying and specialize in some area.

I’m not sure what I really like about my career, but if I have to decide, I would go along the conservation line.

I don’t know, could be a course about how to conserve areas in the sense of learning management strategies and methods, the tools that I should have and stuff.

It would be great to have the chance to study abroad. I wish it was and English-speaking country like Canada or Australia, so I could learn English better. There are many countries that have a lot of experience in the field of Forestry and I think it would be good to take that experience to bring in it to Chile.

It could be a full time course because I feel it’s the best way to learn. But I would also like to have time to know the place, so a part-time course would be fine.

Spending part of the day studying and the other part knowing places in a distant country would be a good plan for my near future.

MY FUTURE JOB

Hi people today I’m gonna talk about the job I would like to have in the future.

Well, I think I don’t think a lot about that because first, I have to graduated and then I will see how things happen and I don’t even know if I want to work on something related to my career. But I think that’s what will happen.

So, if I have to decide something related to my career, I would choose a job that involves the Ecosystems Conservation area. Working to the protection of important places for the planet or something like that.

I would like can to travel a lot to meet different new places and to gain more experience. It would be really nice. And it would be incredible to have a good salary, of course, but I don’t pretend make me rich.

Well, following the same line, now I’m taking elective courses about this area. One of them is ‘Gestión de Espacios Protegidos’; there they give you the basic tools to protect an area, something like a guide to steps to follow.

However, considering that we work with natural ecosystems, no places will be the same as the other. So you always have to take new decisions. It’s something difficult but certainly very necessary to the planet and life on it.

My favourite game.

Hi people, today I’m gonna talk about my favourite game.

Well, I think I don’t play many games because I prefer to do other things (like read), but there is one I play since I was a child and recently I download on my smartphone. It’s Sudoku (yeah it’s a little nerdy) and I like very much.

The objective of this game is to fill a 9x9 grid divided into 3x3 sub-grids with the numbers from 1 to 9 starting from some numbers already arranged in some of the cells. No number should be repeated in the same row, column or sub-grid.

There are several levels of difficulties; it could be easy, medium and expert, among others. The more numbers there are within the grid, the easier it will be to complete the Sudoku.

My favourite part of Sudoku is all about it, because you need to be really concentrated all the time to can do it, especially for the most difficult levels.

I think I like it because you don't need anyone but yourself to play it, unless you are not able to complete it and need help.

Before, I played from time to time, when I found it in some newspaper. But now that I have it on my cell phone I play a lot more.

People say that it help to excercise the brain, for mamory and all of that.

A TEACHER THAT INSPIRED ME

Hi people, today I’m gonna talk about a wonderful teacher that inspired me.

He is Richard, my Math teacher in high school. I met him when I started first grade. We both arrived at the school the same year, so we were both new.

When I met him, he was very young (well, he still is) and you can think that a young teacher should be relax and funny but he wasn’t. Quite the contrary, he was very serious and strict.

I admit that at the first he didn’t like me very much because his subject it was a little difficult to me, but over time it started to get better. And that was thanks to him, because he worried a lot about his student learning.

What inspired me about him was that when he explained the subject to you, when he solved some exercise, he wasn’t trying to make you learn things by heart; he was trying to make you understand things, understand where they came from. That was very good for me, because I realized that that way I learn better, understanding things.

And well, thanks to him I decided study engineering, thank to him I could enter the university I wanted and thanks to him I have passed all my subjects. And obviously thanks to me.

My best concert

Hi bloggers. How are you? I’m really fine, I hope you too.

Today I’m gonna talk about the best concert I have ever been to. It was in 2016 in Estadio Nacional. I saw the band Guns N’ Roses. GNR is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. The most connoted members, at least for me, were Axl (vocalist), Slash (guitarist) and Duff (bassist), but over the years the band gradually dissolved and only Axl remained. The concert was very important to me because it was the moment when GNR returned to Chile with Axl, Slash and Duff together.

I was feeling so excited, sing the songs with the original members of the band was the best. I remember I went with my older sister who likes the band the same or more than me and we both screamed and even cried with emotion.

At some point I thought I could never see the Guns N’ Roses live with its original members, so having the opportunity to do so was a godsend.

The warm and the beach

I am come from a small place on the coast of the Valparaíso region, Las Cruces. I’ve always been near from the waves, the sand and the breeze. I really like to bath on the sea, and feel the sand under my feet. The only thing that I’d change about Las Cruces is the weather. In summer, the beach is very nice, the weather is warm and you probably can go outside with a shirt, but in the night you must keep warm because the temperatures go down. But there, normally, most of the year it’s cloudy and you will probably don’t want even to touch the water of the sea.

So, the place that I’d like to go it’s what I’d like Las Cruces to be. It's Hawaii, I don’t know too much about that place, but the only what I need to know is it's an island with big beaches, white sands and warm waters all year. And that is all what I want in my life.

If I go there, I’d visit many beaches and I’d bath in all of them. I don’t know if I’d like to live all my life there, but I’d like can to go as many times as I’d like.
